We'd like to invite you to become a member of The Iowa Rock 'n Roll Music Association.

Your membership helps support the Iowa Rock 'n Roll Music Association in it's mission to retain and honor the legacy of Rock 'n Roll and preserve the history of music in the state of Iowa. Such initiatives are evident and especially fun during our Annual Iowa Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame Induction Weekend, which this will be held once again in Arnolds Park, Iowa on Saturday and Sunday, September 4th and 5th. The most notable of our inductees on Labor Day Weekend 2010 will be the late Jiles P. Richardson, also known as "The Big Bopper" who died in the infamous plane crash near Clear Lake nearly 51 years ago. The Big Bopper will join eleven bands, five solo performers, three ballrooms, a disc jockey, and a radio station during a weekend that will surely be one for the ages.

But your membership goes to many other behind the scenes programs that the Iowa Rock 'n Roll Music Association carries out as well, including:

4R's Educational Program: School children are visited throughout the state at no cost to the students or the schools and are educated on the history of Rock 'n Roll with special emphasis on the state of Iowa.

Scholarships: Each year we award a scholarship to a student who is entering the music field to help offset the rising cost of higher education.

The Iowa Rock 'n Roll Music Museum: Located in Arnolds Park, Iowa the museum has a fascinating display of unique Rock 'n Roll music memorabilia that is unique to the state of Iowa. Thousands of visitors from around the world visit the museum each and every year.

Concerts and Events: Our “Rock the Roof Road Shows” entertain rock ‘n roll music fans throughout the state and feature Iowa Rock n Roll Music Association Hall of Fame inductees along with local up-and-comers.
