2000 - Booking Agent/ Promoter
Members: Dick Matousek and Bob Masteller
C&M Enterprises of Sioux City, Ia was Western Iowa's leading booking agency for the decade of the sixties. The agency was opened in the Fall of 1959 by Dick Matousek, soon to be joined by Bob Masteller.
They not only booked area bands but also nationally known artists when they came to the area. Although they functioned primarily in the Midwest, they did often reach both coasts and Canada.
If a band was to be "somebody" they booked out of C&M. C&M handled such outstanding groups as the Velaires, Tommy Bolin, A Patch of Blue, Burch Ray and the Walkers, Steve Ellis and the Starfires, The Jags, The Rockers, to name only a few.
In order for the Iowa rock music scene to flourish, it took the hard work of agencies such as C&M and its founders Dick Matousek and Bob Masteller.
