Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association is teaming up with Wabash Entertainment to offer musicians in Southwest Iowa opportunities to grown their musical abilities and meet new people in the industry with “Southwest Iowa Music Workshops” starting March 9th at the Depot Deli in Shenandoah.
Every second Saturday of the month, experienced musicians in Southwest Iowa will provide musicians of all ages new opportunities to learn, grow and network. From
songwriting to studio recording to videography, professionals in the industry will provide hands on instruction in that month’s concentration.
Wabash Entertainment wants to help bring Shenandoah back to the great music town it once was. “Our goal is not only to help local musicians in general, but to give the youth in the community another outlet, a creative outlet, rather than sitting in front of a computer or tv screen all day. There are a lot of great homegrown musicians of all ages in Shenandoah, and in Southwest Iowa. We simply want to provide a platform to help them achieve their goals,” says Wabash Entertainment Founder Dustin Jackson. Those interested in participating in “Southwest Iowa Music Workshops” are asked to register at www.iowarocknroll.com/swiaworkshops
