IRRMA Music Museum

The IRRMA Museum provides visitors with an in-depth look at Iowa’s rock ’n’ roots through informative exhibits that contain many pieces of memorabilia from various bands, musicians, radio personalities and more. The exhibits tell dozens of stories of the colorful personalities and pulsating rock ’n’ roll music that shaped Iowa’s musical history.

After a successful ten years in our current facility, IRRMA is dreaming about the lasting legacy of the association. In summer 2013, the board began developing plans for a 12,000 square foot new Museum to be located in West Okoboji.

The board and staff worked with FEH Associates out of Sioux City, IA, to design plans for what the new facility would entail. Below are just a few of the images of the Museum Legacy Project, a plan that will ensure a place for Iowa's Rock 'n Roll history into perpituity.
